Changes to Working with Children Check Review Pathway

Announcement – 1 October 2025

As a result of the Child Protection (Working with Children) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2025, NCAT no longer has jurisdiction to review decisions related to Working with Children Checks (WWCC).

From now on, individuals seeking a review of a WWCC decision must apply directly to the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
