How to make a payment

Payment of fees for lodging an application or appeal to NCAT, or for other NCAT services can be made by the following methods.

Credit card

Payment for online applications can be made using a debit card or credit card.

Use the Credit card payment authority form (PDF, 236.5 KB) to pay for all other NCAT application fees and charges by credit card.

Complete the credit card payment authority form and attach with your application or request form. Send the form by post or in person. The authority form will be destroyed after payment is processed.

Do not email the credit card authority form. To protect the security of your personal details, NCAT cannot accept credit card details by email, including PDF attachments. This is in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Cheque or money order

Attach a cheque or money order to your application made payable to 'NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal' or 'NCAT.'

In person

Cash, credit card and eftpos payment can be made in person at your nearest NCAT Registry.

By phone

Generally fees are paid at the time an application is lodged. If this has not happened and you are asked to pay a fee, you can pay by credit card by calling NCAT on 1300 006 228. The cardholder will be sent a link by email or SMS text message for secure payment via the Simple Payment Portal.
