NCAT fees and charges from 1 July 2024

NCAT's fees and charges for the filing of applications, appeals and other services will change on 1 July 2024.

Below is a summary of the changes to the fees and charges:

• NCAT’s fees and charges will increase in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
• Certain applications continue to have no fee. These include community services matters and Guardianship Division applications.
• A concession rate (25% of the full fee) is available for eligible persons.  

Parties who are experiencing serious financial hardship may apply to NCAT for a fee waiver.

NCAT’s fees and charges are prescribed under Schedule 2 of the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Regulation 2022.
