Christmas and New Year 2024-25 holiday arrangements

The following arrangements will apply at NCAT over the 2024-2025 Christmas and New Year holiday period.

Hearings

The last hearing days in 2024 for NCAT are:

20 December 2024 – Administrative and Equal Opportunity Division, Occupational Division and Appeal Panel
23 December 2024 – Consumer and Commercial Division
24 December 2024 – Guardianship Division

NCAT will begin to resume its usual listing/hearing arrangements from 6 January 2025.

Urgent hearings

The Guardianship Division is available to hear urgent applications over the holiday period. If you need to make an urgent application outside business hours or on a public holiday, please contact the Guardianship Division on 1300 006 228.

Other NCAT Divisions will hear urgent applications on business days over this period as required. 

Registry services

Telephone enquiries

Telephone enquiries to 1300 006 228 will be available on all business days 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Sydney CBD Registries

John Maddison Tower will be closed between 23 December 2024 and 3 January 2025 inclusive.

Limited Registry services will be available at Civic Tower during this period excluding the public holidays and the Public Service Holiday on 27 December.

Metropolitan and Regional Registries

The NCAT Parramatta Registry will be closed between 23 December 2024 and 3 January 2025 inclusive. Other NCAT registries outside the Sydney CBD will be closed between 27 December 2024 and 3 January 2025 inclusive.
