Appointment of Gregory Sarginson as NCAT Deputy President

NCAT President Justice Lea Armstrong has announced the appointment of Gregory Sarginson to the role of NCAT Deputy President and Head of the Consumer and Commercial Division.

Mr Sarginson has been a Senior Member of NCAT for a number of years and is currently an Acting Principal Member. He has previously been a General Member of NCAT’s Consumer and Commercial Division, a tribunal member of the former Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal, and sessional member of the Cth Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

In addition to his extensive experience as a Tribunal Member, Mr Sarginson has many years’ experience as a barrister, and prior to that, as a litigation solicitor in private practice.

Mr Sarginson commenced his new role on Monday, 16 September 2024.
