The Appeal Panel determines internal appeals from decisions made by NCAT's Divisions.
The Appeal Panel hears internal appeals where there is a right of appeal provided under the Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2013 (NCAT Act) or enabling legislation.
You may need permission, called ‘leave to appeal’, before your appeal can go ahead.
Before you lodge an internal appeal, read the NCAT Guideline on Internal Appeals (PDF, 297.2 KB). The guideline explains when you can appeal and when you need leave to appeal.
The Appeal Panel also hears designated external appeals under the NCAT Act or enabling legislation.
