After the hearing

After the hearing, NCAT will generally make a decision and orders.  An order is a legally enforceable direction for a person or company to do something.

When NCAT makes an order or decision, you have certain rights and obligations
A selection of NCAT decisions are published on the NSW Caselaw website
Request a copy of the sound recording and arrange a transcript
Is an order made by NCAT's Guardianship Division not working in the best interests of the person?
If the other party does not follow the order, enforcement options may be available to you
There are limited circumstances where party can apply for an award of costs
