How to make a payment

NCAT Online Services 

You can pay online for all case types in the Consumer and Commercial Division using NCAT Online Services.

This includes:

  • Applications about housing and property such as renting, strata and other residential property disputes.
  • Applications about consumers and businesses, such as general consumer claims, motor vehicle and retail lease disputes.
  • Other applications, including applications to reinstate or renew proceedings, request a summons or set aside or vary a Tribunal decision.

You can pay by credit card or debit card, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

Online Simple Payment Portal

Fees are generally paid when an application is lodged. If you have not paid, NCAT may ask you to use the Simple Payment Portal. NCAT Registry will send you a secure payment link by email or SMS. Payments can be made by credit card or debit card.

By post

Attach a cheque or money order payable to 'NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal' or 'NCAT' to your application.

In person

You can pay by cash, credit card or debit card at your nearest NCAT Registry.
