NCAT hears certain applications and appeals about the regulation and registration of health practitioners and students.
Health professional cases are managed through NCAT's Occupational Division.
Applications and appeals are heard under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) (“the National Law”).
An Application for Disciplinary Findings and Orders is filed by a professional body against a health practitioner or student (s 149). The professional body will give a copy of the application and any material relied on to the respondent.
