Use the checklists below to help you prepare for your hearing. Check your notice of listing from NCAT for the type of hearing you will be attending.
The information on this page applies only to cases in NCAT's Consumer and Commercial Division.
Bring your documents to the hearing as the case may be heard on that day.
Make sure any witnesses are available to be telephoned or dial in to the hearing if required.

The case may be finalised at the conciliation and hearing (group list).
If you are the applicant, make sure you have sent all of your documents to NCAT and the other party. This requirement is part of the directions on the 'Notice of conciliation and hearing'.
Make sure any witnesses are available to be telephoned or dial in to the hearing if required.

Test your equipment. Make sure your camera and microphone are working.
The case may be finalised at the conciliation and hearing (group list).
Decide if you will ask permission to be represented by a lawyer or another person.
Write down a list of any issues that might arise in the hearing.
