The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) will open a new permanent hearing venue in Tweed Heads in July 2026.
The location at 40 Frances Street, Tweed Heads offers convenient access to public transport and the town centre. Built specifically for tribunal hearings, the new hearing venue strengthens service delivery for the Northern Rivers region.
The Tweed Heads hearing venue is a modern facility that will support the delivery of dispute resolution services in the region.

The hearing rooms include audio-visual technology and video conferencing systems. This will allow parties, witnesses and representatives to join proceedings remotely when needed.
The venue is fully accessible. The hearing rooms include hearing loop systems to assist clients with hearing impairment. The venue also includes accessible public toilets, guest Wi-Fi and nearby on-street parking.
The building features artwork by Christine Slabb, a Bundjalung artist and graphic designer.
The artwork has been applied as decals across internal and external glass surfaces. It reflects the local environment and draws on cultural stories, practices and connections to saltwater.
